Water Wall Turbine Advantages

We believe the economic and practical advantages of the Water Wall Turbine make it the Ideal Instrument for Renewable Energy Generation to successfully address the future Global Electric Energy needs.

WWT’s design objective was to deliver meaningful electric power (500 kW minimum to 5 MW per unit) at a competitive price. Our remote systems, complete with an energy storage unit will deliver power to these communities at a Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) between 10 to 20 cents per MWh, depending on location. WWT tidal and river stream technology will deliver projects to the grid at 6 to 10 cents per kWh.

Replacing just 200 units of 1 MW diesel generation over the next 20 years would produce over $400,000,000 in revenue. The total addressable diesel market for our technology is 2500 MW. Conversion of 200 diesel generators to tidal systems would displace in the order of 200,000,000 litres per year. At an LCOE of 6 to 10 cents per kWh, we also offer competitive solution for the grid connected market segment, both as single units or arrays with 1 to 5 MW units.

WWT’s technology offers high-yield energy extraction, low operation costs, eco & bio-friendliness, construction & installation simplicity. This technology can operate in shallow areas such as canals and rivers where other submerged technologies can’t operate. WWT surface operation provides massive energy extraction where the bulk of tidal energy exists.
